As part of the Gap Inc. family, we’ve been listening and learning. Now we’re sharing our next steps to enable a culture of belonging for our teams, our customers and future generations. Learn about these commitments here.
This has been a difficult time for our country, and our hearts break for the Black community. We will not be silent. We will not be without action. Change is long overdue. And change starts with all of us—standing up against racial injustice.
We’ve always believed in inviting every family into our brand. We know this is not enough. We don’t have all the answers, but we will continue to ask questions and remain committed to listening, learning and taking action.
We are committed to teaching the kids in our lives about kindness, unity, anti-racism and love. During this time, we’re shifting our social content to empower parents to talk about race and highlight Black creators that inspire us. We will continue to be more inclusive.
Over the past months, we’ve been working on a Fall collaboration with Harlem’s Fashion Row, a social company that provides a voice for multicultural designers. We’re looking forward to shining a light on these amazing designers and are committed to lifting up more creative people of color in the future.
For us, this is just the beginning. These commitments will help shape our future. Together we can raise kids to be the change-makers that the world deserves. Our common thread is love, and we stand with the Black community now and always. We hope you’ll join us.
