Our Policies

At Janie and Jack, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Returns or exchanges will be gladly accepted within six months of original purchase.

Request for Email Address
We ask our customers for their name and email address for marketing purposes. You are not required to give us this information as a condition for using a credit card. If we require this information to ship an order or for payment purposes, we will tell you.

Return Policy
Merchandise may be returned if defective, or unwashed, unworn and in sellable condition to any Janie and Jack shop. Janie and Jack merchandise must be returned to Janie and Jack locations only. Janie and Jack retail shops are unable to accept merchandise returns from Janie and Jack Outlet stores. All merchandise returns are subject to a 24-hour restocking period. Please note - the original credit card used for the purchase must be presented in order to process the refund to that card. All sales are final after 180 days.

Returns with an Original Sales Receipt
Merchandise may be exchanged or a refund will be issued in the original form of payment for the price paid when returned within 60 days of purchase. A Merchandise Credit will be issued for returns with an original sales receipt more than 60 days after the purchase date for the price paid. A return/exchange or gift receipt does not serve as an original receipt. Please note - the original credit card used for the purchase must be presented in order to process the refund to that card. Janie and Jack reserves the right to limit returns or exchanges and to verify the original sale before processing a return.

Returns with a Gift Receipt
Refunds over $5 will be issued in the form of a Merchandise Credit or merchandise exchange for the price paid.

Returns without a Receipt
Refunds over $5 will be issued in the form of a Merchandise Credit or merchandise exchange for the current selling price. Valid identification is required for all returns and exchanges without an original receipt or gift receipt. Valid forms of photo identification are: U.S. Driverís License, U.S. state-issued ID, U.S. Military ID and a Passport. Information from your ID will be retained in a company-wide database of customer return activity that Janie and Jack uses to authorize returns and will not be used for any other purpose. Janie and Jack reserves the right to limit returns or exchanges and to verify the original sale before processing a return. We may offer a lookup using your credit/debit card, personal check or email address to attempt to locate the transaction information for returns without a receipt. If the transaction is located, it will be processed as a return with a receipt.

Mail Return Policy
To mail in your return, complete the Return Mail form(on the bottom half of the packing slip), including "Quantity Returned" and "Reason Code" and enclose it with your merchandise. Affix the pre-paid UPS shipping label that came with the merchandise. We will deduct a $4.95 fee for postage when the pre-paid postage label is used. If you would like to use a carrier other than UPS, please follow the instructions above and ship your return to:

Shipping fees involved in making a return to Online Store will not be reimbursed. Packages must be pre-paid or returned using the pre-paid UPS shipping label that came with the order. Please visit UPS.com to find your nearest UPS drop-off location or schedule a pick-up. We cannot accept C.O.D deliveries.

Gift Cards and Merchandise Credits
Gift Cards and Merchandise Credits may be redeemed at any Janie and Jack location for merchandise only, except to the extent required by law. Gift Cards may be redeemed for cash if the balance is less than $10, except as otherwise required by law. Gift Cards and Merchandise Credits are valid in the country of issuance only. A valid photo identification is required to receive or redeem a Merchandise Credit. Valid forms of photo identification are: U.S. Driverís License, U.S. state-issued ID, U.S. Military ID and a Passport. Merchandise Credits must be signed at the point of issuance. Lost, stolen, or damaged Gift Cards or Merchandise Credits may be replaced for the remaining balance at the time of notice upon presenting an original sale or gift receipt. Merchandise Credits are non-transferable. Merchandise Credits cannot be used to purchase Gift Cards. Merchandise Credits may not be used online.

Price Adjustments
A one-time price adjustment will be permitted within 7 days of initial purchase with original receipt. All adjustments are refunded in the original form of payment. Online purchases cannot receive price adjustments in retail stores. Janie and Jack may designate that price adjustments are not available during certain promotional events or that price adjustments are not available on certain items.

Check Policy
When you provide a check as payment, you authorize Certegy to use the information from your check to make a one-time electronic funds transfer (EFT) from your account, process the payment as a check transaction, or use a bank draft. When we use information from your check to make an EFT, funds may be withdrawn from your account as soon as the same day you make your payment, and you will not receive your check back from your financial institution. If your payment is returned due to insufficient or uncollected funds, you authorize Certegy to collect a Service Charge, via a one-time EFT or using a bank draft drawn on your account. The Service Charge will be:

Phone Orders
Janie and Jack Outlet is unable to process Phone Orders for customers.
